What is The Still Space?

The Still Space is where we offer face-to-face supportive courses to gain a clear understanding of the critical aspects of stress and anxiety and how to use yoga techniques to relieve symptoms.

6 week course for adults with mild to moderate anxiety

The course begins with exploration into the physical, social and emotional elements of stress and anxiety which are then mapped to holistic well-being. Symptoms are linked with specific yoga techniques, known to reduce outcomes of anxiety. During the course, group members also test a variety of strategies in order to create a personal stress reduction plan to use once the course is complete. 

All courses are held in small friendly groups. Each course member will receive a phone based one-to-one support call during the week for the duration of their 6 week course.

No previous yoga experience is necessary.

6 week course for parents with teenagers with mild to moderate anxiety

This course covers the cause of anxiety in children / teenagers and provides parents with strategies to support their children to build resilience through coping mechanisms, empowerment and teaching techniques for simple yoga.

All participants will need comfy clothes, a pen, a notebook and a soft cushion.
